We recommend that you follow these simple guidelines to care for your Clarke Shirt:
- Wash with other white articles only to ensure your Clarke Shirt retains its whiteness
- Turn your garment inside out to reduce friction on the right side
- Use a spray stain remover around the collar for makeup stains and around the cuffs if they are grubby
- Use the gentle or hand wash cycle on your washing machine
- Wash in cold or lukewarm water
- Use a mild detergent such as a wool mix - do not add a softener
- Give your garment a shake out and dry on a hanger, avoiding direct sunlight
- Do not tumble dryIron inside out using the linen setting on your iron OR embrace the wrinkles and don't iron at all
- For more intentional wrinkles we suggest twisting the garment before wearing. A fabulous alternative if you are travelling.
- With a white garment, especially one like Clarke which is worn next to the skin, we recommend washing after each wear to ensure the white remains vibrant.
