Our Story

Eva’s Sunday is an independently owned Australian fashion label based in Fitzroy, Melbourne. We value quality, inclusivity, sustainability & exceptional service. We encourage & assist our customers to create and define a sense of their own personal style. We design two major collections and several smaller capsules each year, releasing garments monthly.

We have never followed the fashion industry's seasonal approach to garment design, opting instead for garments that work well all year round, layered up or down depending on climate.

Over time, our customers build their own 'Eva's Sunday' wardrobe, garments individual in their own right, but connected by a signature look, quality & colour palette that allows them to work seamlessly together from one season to the next.

Our garments are timeless yet the Eva's Sunday aesthetic is distinctly modern. We embrace slow fashion of the highest quality. We are passionate about creating clothes that make you feel fabulous. We are committed to quality and integrity at every stage of the process from design, to manufacture, to customer service. Call or text us and you will very often be speaking to founder Nic MacIsaac, whose hands on approach to the business has created a consistent aesthetic our customers love.

All of our garments originate from sketches by our designer, New Zealand born & trained Kenya Quin. Our garments are then sampled in house in our Melbourne studio. Our patterns are graded by a specialist Melbourne company. We manufacture 50% of our collections in Melbourne with a female owned & run business.

The remaining 50% of our collection is produced by our manufacturing partners in Changzhou China. Also a female owned business who we have worked in partnership with since the beginning of our label eight years ago. We believe in 100% transparency and the production location of each garment is indicated on the product page of our website.

At Eva’s Sunday we believe that fashion is for everyone. We have made our styles as size, age and gender inclusive as possible and will continue to create collections that embrace and celebrate our diversity. We believe that fostering a culture of inclusive design is reflective of the diversity of our customers. Inclusivity will continue to be a core value for the Eva’s Sunday team.

The Eva's Sunday customer is one that we know well. They value quality over quantity, they want to feel fabulous and fashion forward at any age and their wardrobe needs to work hard. Garments are designed to work in multiple combinations and occasions and move effortlessly from one season to the next. A shirt might also be a dress or jacket.

A strong core collection of essential pieces will be ever present. The perfect white shirt, a wide legged trouser, a simple elegant jacket. Our customer loves the perfect accessory to finish a look - a fabric flower brooch, a linen gauze scarf, a statement earring. These elements combine to create a defining personal style.

Our Gently Worn Programme is a trusted marketplace for the buying and selling of Eva's Sunday garments that have had a gentle first life and are looking for a new home. Discover gems from collections gone by or give your own pieces a new life. This enables us to extend the life of every garment and give our customers an avenue to pass on ES pieces so they can reinvest or update their own wardrobe collections.

We love to connect with our customers. Please follow us on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok for daily content. We love hearing your feedback. Feel free to reach out to us via email or text message. We want you to love your Eva’s Sunday wardrobe for years to come because it works for you. We offer supportive, knowledgeable and free styling advice to all our customers over the phone and in person at our two stunning stores in Beechworth & Fitzroy.
