Details

The Essentials Collection Aurora Top is a statement garment. It has a simple round neckline, a button & loop closure at the back, dropped sleeves and boxy shaping throughout the body. A cropped front hemline gives way to a dramatic swooping back hemline. Aurora cleverly appears dress-like from the back and the shorter hem up front creates a beautiful frame for the pieces worn below. A simple but ingenious design from our early archives.

Styling Tip: There are so many ways to style Aurora (1) with a pant; wide or straight-legged  (2) over a dress such as Danni or Dolly (3) over the Ophelia Shirt Dress with a knee-high boot (4) put a shorter layer underneath for a contrast colour pop.

Care Instructions
We recommend that you follow these simple guidelines to care for your Aurora:

  • Wash with other white articles only to ensure your Aurora retains its whiteness
  • Turn your garment inside out to reduce friction on the right side
  • Use a spray stain remover around the collar for make-up stains & cuffs 
  • Use the gentle or hand wash cycle on your washing machine
  • Wash in cold or lukewarm water
  • Use a mild detergent such as a wool mix - do not add a softener
  • Give your garment a shake out and dry on a hanger, avoiding direct sunlight
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Iron inside out using the linen setting on your iron OR
  • Embrace the wrinkles and don't iron at all
  • For more intentional wrinkles we suggest twisting the garment before wearing.  

    • With a white garment, especially one like Aurora which is worn next to the skin, we recommend washing after each wear to ensure the white remains vibrant.

    Aurora Top in White

    Love this top! I could have one in every colour of this top! It suits me perfectly and marries back with pants, skirts and 3/4 pants. Goes well with a jacket on top, is stylish and top quality linen as with all ES clothes. I love it for Summer. I do think I need it in Black as well....and maybe Blue.....and.....:)))

    An absolute favourite!

    I have Aurora in black... I love it so much I bought it in white as well! I get so many compliments and they are so lovely to wear, the linen is a beautiful weight and quality. Aurora will be on high rotation in my wardrobe - fab with jeans, pants, skirts and dresses!
