When worn the other way, the gathered feature sits into side panels, creating a sleek and modern aesthetic with the centre front of the dress sitting flat.

The dress also features lovely hidden pockets incorporated into the side seams, offering both functionality and style. The violet dress sits just above the ankle on most, but it can be easily taken up if required, offering customizable length options. This dress truly shines when paired with our new little vest, the Lottie, also in London fog, for a coordinated and sophisticated look. Whether you're dressing it up for a special occasion or keeping it casual, this pinafore dress is a versatile and delightful addition to any wardrobe.

Care Instructions
We recommend that you follow these simple guidelines to care for your Violet Dress

  • Wash with like coloured articles 
  • Turn your garment inside out to reduce friction on the right side
  • Use the gentle or hand wash cycle on your washing machine
  • Wash in cold or lukewarm water
  • Use a mild detergent such as a wool mix - do not add a softener
  • Give your garment a shake out and dry on a hanger, avoiding direct sunlight
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Iron inside out using the linen setting on your iron OR
  • Embrace the wrinkles and don't iron at all
  • For more intentional wrinkles we suggest twisting the garment before wearing.

    So elegant

    I tried this on when in the store to buy the Charlie pant. I loved it and went back and purchased it the very next day. The fabric is just gorgeous and falls beautifully and the colour can be worn with a lot of different coloured shoes and bags. Love the square neckline and that it can be worn two ways!
