Wow, this fabric is luxurious. The weight is the first quality you notice, then the slight sheen and how it falls through your hands. I tried to squeeze it to see how it creased - it doesn’t - it just drapes, and it feels gorgeous against the skin.

The style too is lovely - very practical - I’m not normally a skirt wearer, but this is cut with no skimping and to wear it as it swishes is wonderful.

I’m a shorty, so altered it a little at the hem - enough to make a great head wrap with the off cut. It was a pleasure also to pin and sew.

With an elastic waist, I’m normally a size 14. After reading other reviews, I chose the Large, but honestly, the Medium would have possibly been a less loose fit around my hips. As is, it fits comfortably around what used to be my waist (lol) and I wear it sometimes with a wide belt if I want to cinch it a bit.
