A soft, romantic hat from Gil Fox. The tall, rounded crown and wide brim are worked in a fine, close spiral weave, and the brim edge rises and falls in gentle waves, giving the hat an easy movement when worn.

A wide grosgrain ribbon wraps the base of the crown and finishes in a loose bow with long, trailing tails, layered over a narrower ribbon beneath. Tucked into the bow is a small millinery posy: an open rose with softly layered petals, surrounded by tiny clustered blossoms and finished with a bundle of bound stems.

The shifts in tone across the weave and the softly finished brim edge come from the way each hat is made. These are details to be enjoyed rather than corrected, and they make every piece its own.
