Q: What criteria must garments meet to be included in the Gently Worn Programme?

1. All garments must be in perfect condition Garment must retain their original structure, colour & tailoring with no tearing or weakness along seams. Areas of high friction (eg thigh area with pants, elbows with tops) must not be thinning or piling. Garment must be free of holes, fraying, missing buttons or broken zips. The Eva's Sunday size label must be present in the garment. In the past, we have charged a fee to sew labels back in; however, we are no longer able to offer this service. 2. Garments must be entirely stain-free Please be vigilant about makeup stains around the collar and neckline of tops. Often these are built up & will not wash out, in which case we cannot accept the garment. 3. Colours must be true to original vibrancy with no fading. PLEASE NOTE that we are no longer accepting black garments unless there is extremely minimal fading. If there is any fabric fading, it must be minor & even across the garment. White & light coloured garments must be pristine. To be accepted for re-sale, black & navy garments must be true to their original colour. 4. Garments must be freshly laundered A $10 laundry fee (per garment) will be deducted from your voucher if we are required to wash anything. Please make sure everything if washed just prior to being sent. 5. We only accept some linen accessories Tie belts & obi scarves are accepted so long as the above criteria are met. Fabric flower brooches & headbands are not accepted.

Q: How do I get paid for my garments?

A gift voucher for 40% of the selling price. After your items have been approved and priced, you will be emailed a gift voucher for 40% of the selling price minus any laundry fees. You do not need to wait for your garments to sell to receive the voucher! Please note your Gift Voucher is valid for three years.

Sustainability and circularity are at the heart of all we do at Eva’s Sunday. That is why the Gently Worn programme was born.

Launched in 2021, the programme provides our community with a trusted platform for buying and selling beautiful preloved Eva’s Sunday garments, including rare archival and sample pieces.

Of the highest quality from design studio to shop floor, all styles are in perfect condition and have passed a thorough quality check prior to listing, ready for a new lease on life.

We are very proud of the programme and we are delighted by the way our community has embraced it.

SELLING YOUR GARMENTS

What is the procedure to sell through the Gently Worn Programme?

1. Ensure your garments meet the criteria listed below then email your garment details (style name, fabric and size) plus images to:

Wait to hear back from us before posting your garments.

2. Post your garments to the following address:

Eva's Sunday Gently Worn
57 Victoria Street, Fitzroy 3065, Victoria Australia.

Please put your name, address & mobile number on the outside of the package.

3. You will receive a confirmation text message when your package arrives.

We will review your garments to make sure they meet the GW criteria. Any garments that don't meet the criteria will be set aside for fabric recycling.

4. We will notify you once your garments are approved & email you a gift voucher.

The gift voucher is equivalent to 40% of the estimated resale price of your garments. It is valid for three years.

Where do I send my Gently Worn garments?

You can post garments to our studio, or drop them off at our Fitzroy Store.

If posting garments, please address to:

Please put your name, address & mobile on the outside of the package.

Alternatively, garments can be dropped off to Eva's Sunday Fitzroy Store.

You can find us at 277 Brunswick St, Fitzroy. Ensure garments are within a bag with your name, email and mobile number attached.

Please check store hours before dropping by to prevent disappointment.

Please note we cannot process your gift voucher on the spot in our store. Processing is done in the studio and will take up to 5 business days.

Gently Worn garments cannot be accepted at our Beechworth store.

How do you price Gently Worn garments?

As a general guideline, pre owned garments that meet our strict criteria sell for approximately 40 - 50% of their original RRP.

Development or production samples sell for approximately 70 - 80% of their estimated RRP as these garments are brand new.

How do I get paid for my garments?

A gift voucher for 40% of the selling price.

After your items have been approved and priced, you will be emailed a gift voucher for 40% of the selling price minus any laundry fees.

You do not need to wait for your garments to sell to receive the voucher!

Please note your Gift Voucher is valid for three years.

Our Beehworth store carries a small rack of gently worn clothing year-round.

Can I purchase with a discount code?

No, Gently Worn items are excluded from sale of promotional offers. Discount codes cannot be applied when purchasing Gently Worn items.

Do you sell all sizes through Gently Worn?

The size range of Gently Worn listings is dependent on what we receive from the ES community!

We apologise if your size is not in stock, or if sizing seems limited. We do our best to ensure a range of sizes is listed.

Can I return a Gently Worn purchase?

Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting returns on gently worn garments. Please select carefully as all sales are final.
