The Essentials Collection Cornelia Jacket is an a-line-shape cropped jacket with a great swing through the body. Raglan sleeves end middle forearm and the cuff features an attractive pleat detail. A deep box pleat sits at the centre back with thoughtful seaming on either side. The neckline is round. The jacket fastens with 2 self-covered buttons which sit on a placket running centre front. Subtle pleat detailing sits on either side of the jacket opening. Cornelia is a well-designed & attractive hip-length jacket.

Styling Tip: The perfect jacket to pair with tailored linen pants such as our Bowie Pant in Black. Also, perfect over a sleeveless linen dress such as the Danni Slip Dress in Black. Cornelia would add a refined look to a more casual outfit like denim jeans & a t-shirt. Remember that our black & navy fabrications have been specifically designed to look amazing worn together.

Care Instructions

We recommend that you follow these simple guidelines to care for your Cornelia Jacket:

It is not necessary to dry clean your blazer but it is certainly dry cleanable if this is your preference

Wash with other dark articles

Turn your garment inside out to reduce friction on the right side

Use the gentle or hand wash cycle on your washing machine

Wash in cold or lukewarm water

Use a mild detergent such as a wool mix - do not add a softener

Give your garment a shake out and dry on a hanger, avoiding direct sunlight

Do not tumble dry

Iron inside out using the linen setting on your iron OR

Embrace the wrinkles and don't iron at all

For more intentional wrinkling we suggest just lightly twisting the garment before wearing. A fabulous alternative if you are travelling.

With a dark-coloured garment, especially a jacket which is not worn right next to the skin, washing after every wear may not be necessary - less is more for your garment & for the environment.
