These dainty handmade platters have a smooth, matte finish. They are hand-formed and hand-decorated in various ways. A hemp cord has been attached for easy hanging. The base has been left unglazed and is sanded. These platters make a perfect little cheese board, loaded with your favorite cheese and biscuits or alternatively, some delicious freshly cut fruits or sweet treats. They make a stunning gift when on their own or grouped.

Clay Beehive is a ceramic studio located in beautiful North East Victoria - very close to our Beechworth store. Maker Mel Eliades lives and works on small acreage, with a large garden full of herbs and flowers, close to a river, looking out onto magnificent hundred-year-old river red gums.

Mel is an avid photographer and bee lover. She loves being in nature, her biggest source of inspiration.
