In this 2 day workshop hosted by textile artist and Sunday Studio founder Bella MacIsaac, you will take an immersive deep dive into bead embroidery to create a stunning, fully beaded rose.
We'll cover all things beading and explore techniques to create a detailed, textured and realistic rose that is signature to Bella's work.
All materials will be provided, including more than enough beads for you to take home to continue your project. I will also provide lunch, snacks and tea and coffee on all 3 days.
When: Saturday 18th - Sunday 19th April. Both days 10am - 4pm
Where: 9/95 Victoria Street, Fitzroy
It is unlikely that you will complete your project in this time, but you should make strong progress and leave equipped with the skills and materials necessary to finish your rose at home.
Please note that this class is highly instructional, due to the detailed and intricate nature of the project. If you prefer to work more organically with a less direct teaching style, this may not be the class for you - although you are of course welcome to take the class at your own pace.
I would recommend this class for stitchers who are comfortable with hand stitching and embroidery and may have some experience in beading. If you are a total newbie at beading, you are very welcome to attend! Beading is a slow process, which gives me lots of time to spend one on one or in small groups to tailor the experience for individual skill levels.

SUNDAY STUDIO RETURNS POLICY
Sunday Studio is not able to accommodate refunds if you are no longer able to attend a workshop. Our artists have prepared and purchased supplies in advance and are therefore not able to issue refunds, although you are more than welcome to transfer your ticket to friends or family.
If you provide notice that you are no longer able to attend a class a week or more in advance, we will attempt to resell your ticket. If that ticket is purchased, you will be refunded the full purchase amount.
