Care Instructions
Handwash your Aleger knit in cold water, or dry-clean professionally. Do not soak. After washing, reshape the knit while still damp. Dry flat, not on a hanger. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Use a low heat setting and iron on the reverse side.

Built on three decades of fashion industry knowledge, Aleger was founded with a single, unwavering idea: to create exceptional knitwear using the finest natural fibres, guided by skill rather than speed.

Led by co-founder and Creative Director Aleida Harger, whose vision is shaped by her Aotearoa New Zealand heritage, a family history in textiles and global experience across London, New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong, Aleger designs and produces everything in-house, ensuring complete transparency and precision at every stage of the process.

Their signature cashmere yarn is sourced from Inner Mongolia, with an average micron of 15.2–15.8 μm, buttery-soft and luxurious, yet durable and long-lasting, and two to three times warmer than merino wool. All cashmere is certified by The Good Cashmere Standard and all cotton used in the collection is organically farmed.

Each piece is an invitation to carry a fragment of a journey to become part of your own story, worn again and again.

We ship worldwide. Your order will be packed within three days but usually sooner. In Australia we ship through the Australia Post network. Outside of Australia, we use DHL.
